Level 2 · Supervisor / Key Holder
Supervisor / Key Holder interviews are about trust, not a full ASM screen. Keys, close, cash, alarm, running a shift when the ASM or SM is gone. This page is a preview: what they test, plus two sample questions. The rest of the pack is paid.
Two free samples. Unlock the full Supervisor / Key Holder pack for the rest.
Sample answer
I’m not racing the last ten minutes. Fitting rooms empty, floor recovered enough that the next open isn’t a punishment, cash counted and dropped the way this store does it, doors checked, alarm set. I leave a note a human can use — what didn’t get done, what open needs to know. If a count is off, I don’t guess and go home. I recount, I write it down, I call if that’s the rule. Keys aren’t a title. They’re being the last person who can still wreck the building.
Sample answer
I handle the floor first — get the customer off the main walk, use the policy I have, keep the team from freezing. A register issue I can document and move people to another till is mine. I call the manager when it’s safety, a cash miss I can’t resolve, an alarm I can’t set, or a decision that spends the store’s money beyond what keys are allowed to do. Calling because I’m uncomfortable is different from calling because the building needs a manager. I’ll take a name, I’ll write what happened, and I won’t invent a yes I can’t keep just to avoid the phone.
