About

One person. Same path.

I am Eduardo G. González. People call me Eddie. I built Retail Interviews for candidates walking into store jobs — the interviews I used to run from the other side of the table.

Where Central Florida
Floor Former General Manager, Banana Republic. Left retail in June 2026.
Now Helping people prep for store interviews and work toward their career goals.
Language Bilingual Spanish. This site is English-first because that is the interview most stores still run.

I do not have a team, a placement rate, or a wall of logos. I am not a company saying we. I ran a store. I hired people. I sat through the same questions district asked me. The prep that exists online is either corporate fluff or tech-interview theater. Store jobs are not that.

If you are interviewing for Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Associate / Key Holder at a place like Banana Republic, Gap, Target, Publix, Walmart, or the shop down the road — this is for you. Those names are examples of interviews, not clients. I do not pretend they endorse this.

The edge I have is the floor: Saturday volume, a call-out at open, a DM walk, a coaching conversation you did not want to have. That is what the sample answers try to sound like. Swap in your store. Do not recite mine.

If something on the site is wrong, or you want a question added, email me. I will read it. There is no ticket system.
